I have never heard of solid shampoo bars and I love this! Does it lather up just like liquid shampoo?
Because we don’t use harsh foaming agents our lather is slightly less pronounced than regular liquid shampoo. You only need a few swipes of the bar and massage it into the scalp to create a nice lather!
How do you use the products effectively?
You would need to wet your hair and bar first and with each bar you only need to only swipe 3-5 times before massaging it into your hair.
Can I get away with just using your solid shampoo without any conditioner as they contain oils and conditioning ingredients already?
YES - Our waterless, solid shampoo bars are so nourishing that many customers find that they don’t need to use a conditioner, try for yourself!
I’ve tried a shampoo bar before from another brand but found it dense and hard to wash out of my hair. Any recommendations for which bar I should get?
You might find that the reason the other bar didn't work for your hair was because it was soap based - so high pH. Our shampoo bars are pH neutral so that will not happen with any of the Biovène bars. We recommend trying our best selling and award-winning Pink Heaven, Nourish Restore!
Do your shampoo bars leave a residue on the hair? I’ve been trying to switch to natural shampoo bars (currently using a bar but don’t like that there’s SLS in it) but they always end up causing an accumulation on my hair :(
Our solid bars are soap free and pH balanced. Most "solid shampoo bars" on the market are actually soap, which is what may leave the residue on your hair. Our bars have great lather and leaves hair feeling clean and amazing, with no residue.
Doesn’t irritate eyes? Or is regular soap?
All our bars are 100% soap free and we do not use any chemicals which could irritate eyes.
